The type of care and kindness that comes from Dr Wells and her staff is over the moon. As much as Dr. Wells cares about her animals she cares for the wellbeing of her staff as well. Especially in a high burnout job. It is not own by a big corporation, but by a family. Dr. Wells has helped and guided me and my animals for years and am entirely grateful for the outstanding care they have always received!

Dr. Barrett and her staff are wonderful. My cat suffered a chemical burn from a spot-on treatment, and the care and follow-up they provided was incredible. I received detailed emails from Dr. Barrett after each visit. Even though I have to drive over an hour, it’s absolutely worth it.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wells and her entire staff for the care they provided to our senior dog, Harley. With every interaction we had, every single individual at VWC always went above and beyond to exude kindness and warmth. They are so knowledgable and truly care about every animal (and their families) who come through their doors. And, for the first time in his life, our dog began to love going to the vets. I only wish we found this office sooner.

We love Dr. Wells! Their new spot is beautiful spacious and clean. My dogs could not be in better care. Dr. Wells is brilliant and has a huge heart. She cares for our animals like they are her own. We really appreciate her awareness and ability to integrate eastern and western holistic medicine. Worth every penny. Will always recommend.

First visit and I love it here already! My dog has had mystery symptoms that have otherwise been treated ineffectively, and it was so refreshing to have a real conversation about health and solutions. I’m used to push back when I want anything other than standard western medicine, and having other options is incredible. I would highly recommend bringing your furry friend here!

After going to several vet clinics, urgent care, and a specialist, I finally decided to drive an hour to come to this center as a last resort for my cat, Milo, who had been suffering from nasty skin infection for over 6 months. Dr. Barrett saved my cat's paw from amputation and I'm grateful for her and the staff, who were nothing but kind to me and my cat.

I’ve been bringing my dog Howie here for years, and I truly can’t sing their praises enough. During our first visit, Dr. Wells spent over an hour talking with me about Howie’s lifestyle and thoroughly going through the best approach to his care. Their thoughtful, knowledgeable, and holistic approach should be the standard for all veterinary care. Howie and I can be a nervous duo, but Dr. Wells, Dr. Bean, and every tech on staff are compassionate, patient, and attentive. They take the best care of both my dog and me, and I wouldn’t trust Howie with anyone else. Thank you to all the staff for being simply amazing!

Dr. Hannah and her team are the absolute best! I have three dogs, two of which are super-seniors (13 and 15) and one of which is a puppy (15 months), all with crazy different needs. She approaches each dogs’ needs with individual care and consciousness and works with me to develop a care plan that aligns with my health goals for them, while meeting me with her vast knowledge of traditional veterinary methods and Chinese medicine techniques. My pets always end up feeling comfortable while there, and it doesn’t hurt that their facility is brand new, spacious, beautiful, bright, and inviting. The staff is very friendly and works to make sure the animals and humans are happy and get what we need. Her and her staff often go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

From the moment we walked into the Veterinary Wellness Center, we felt at ease. There was no perfume/fragrance chemicals in the space, which was a relief! The space is very clean, you can tell they take pride in everything they do. Everyone we came in contact with at the practice was compassionate. Dr. Deirdre Bean took her time to get to know our dog and his health history. She gave us advice and shared a wealth of knowledge that we have never been given elsewhere. Now we have a care plan for our boy going forward, as he has a history of cancer. We were astonished to find out from Dr. Bean that he does not require surgery. It took me a while to process this appointment since his previous vet had him scheduled for surgery. Also, our experience at the Veterinary Wellness Center with Dr. Bean was a refreshing change from the previous veterinary practice. We live about an hour from Exeter, but this practice is absolutely worth the drive! I’ve been beaming with gratefulness about the entire interaction and the care we received here for our boy. We’ve definitely found our dog’s veterinarian here!
